Yo, this creepy ass shortcut appeared on my desktop this morning, and I have no idea how it got there. I tried scanning it's directory with windows defender, it didn't detect any threats. The son of a bitch is obviously trying to imitate google chrome, it somehow found it's way onto my computer. What do I do?

Either you installed with some app, or it's some malware disguised as chromium. Check where the path leads

of course you don't, for fuck sake chromium doesn't even has installer, how can it create a shortcut to your desktop?
I recently had an installer ask me to install chromium in one of those opt-out checkbox option screens, that's probably it OP.

>Windows
You shouldn't be doing anything important with that anyway because of all the viruses and botnets. Back up what you can and use it for entertainment until it collapses.

It was in my common app data, but I deleted it.

More like open sharts, used to help with a nearby school's shit and their student "techies" used it. It was awful.
