Should I sell my R9 290X now?
Where do I sell it? I don't want to get scammed on eBay.

I live in a bumfuck town.
I'm probably the only person with a high end GPU in 300 mile radius.
Cryptomining is huge, and Ethereum mining is optimized for AMD.
Put it on Craigslist or eBay and say you never mined with it. Someone will buy.

>high end GPU
maybe in 2013
/g/ used to have Buy/Sell/Trade threads. Those get banned? I unironically trust 4chan more than eBay.

It's still pretty high end, considering that the performance isn't too far away from a RX 580, albeit at a much higher power draw. Some people on this board seem to have a really twisted image off what the average (gaming) PC might look like in terms of cost and performance. Of course this being a technology boards explains it somewhat, but I still find it interesting.
And before you get the chance to greentext it, yes, I'm a poorfag.

I say keep it, unless you have no need for it. At least where I live those go for comparatively low prices, so selling isn't a good move imo.

My friend has a R9 290x and it still runs games on max settings at 1080p.

How would you as the seller get scammed when the buyer has to pay for it first?
