Just graduated guys and I am freaking out over getting my first entry level IT job. Any advice so I don't fuck up? What are some things I should make sure I know so I don't look like an idiot? Basically any advice helps.

Just got my AA in cybersecurity(I know a meme). Planning on continuing to an online 4 year but I want to quit retail and start getting experience. Wondering if I even have a chance or should try to get some certs first.

Just go to a job agency and get some crappy part time (maybe full time if you're lucky) temp works.
Pay will be higher than retail and you can list experience.
Oh, you will fuck up at some point. It comes with the job. Take notes for yourself, tagged and searchable

You didn't already start work before you graduated?
I'm sorry anon, it's too late. You fluffed it.
If you aren't good with computer and computing, you're going to suck in IT. Or you're smarter than 99% of the population who doesnt know how to format a disk and will walk into an IT job as easy as walking into your own room.
Summary: you're doomed.
Get your dick out at the start of the interview to assert dominance.

Documentation. At my last job my boss had me write down every single thing I did at the end of the day so when I found a new job he had logs to give to the next employee.

You're both right. No one likes those agency assholes, but if you can put up with it for a bit, it's a good resume & references builder.
