I have been meaning to tell this story for a while...
>was riding my bike and needed to take a piss
>in shady part of town
>dodgy back of an apartment block
>go as far as I can go into palm trees to be indescreet
>see all this Radom shit like cards, 12v usb car charger, tangle of cables and keys
>obviously some homeless dude has done smashed a car window and sifted through the remains at this spot
>see headphones
>Phillips iems
>audio guy in me is has to hear them
> sick of 80dollar Sony shit
>listen to them
>they sound fucking great !
>turn out to be Phillips SHE3590
>a favourite /g/ meme phone of 2012
>my favourite headphone of the next few years
>still own and listen to some /g/uys stolen and found headphones
Yep things turn out out better than expected sometimes.... Hope.jpg

>is there a market for pre worn headphones like those Japanese underwear vending machines ???
Probably not, but then again I wouldn't pay for used underwear either but I'd happily take it for free.

Sadly enough I've done this too. My cheap but decent sounding earphones finally died on a school day. I was waiting for the shuttle to head downtown & I found a pair of earphones on the floor. There wasn't anyone around since my class ended at 7 PM. Plugged them in without putting it in my ear & the earphones worked perfectly. I luckily had some spare earbuds & replaced them. This was about two months ago & they still work splendidly to this day.

I picked a pair in a bus once, but since my current headphones cost $300 they are collecting dust.
