Mate is probably my second favorite DE, but there's just no reason to use it over Xfce I've found.

I've recently enjoyed using MATE. It's very polished and functional like Cinnamon, but less bloated. Xfce is bretty good, too.

Which one eat less ram, MATE or XFCE4?
