Brilliant. Instead of tightening down on border control and on non white foreigner control we should all just slowly give up our civil liberties instead. (((Western politicians)))

military-grade encryption: only available for military, law enforcement, intelligence services. The most secure type of encryption.
industrial-grade encryption: used on public/private infrastructure, banks, consumers only face this when they buy services or use gov service like file taxes online. Sound encryption but keys are held by governmental office which grants licences for encryption use.
consumer-grade encryption: used by private citizens for their transactions between each other. Not "real" encryption, just fuzzing, everything normal law abiding citizen needs.

That was why they were importing terror cells in the first place, so they'd have an excuse and public support for expanding the big brother surveillance state.
Why not just deport people?

Uk doesn't have borders, just water around it.
We've been through this 6 gorillion times before, I'll say it again:
It is impossible to detect an encrypted volume hidden as empty space.
It is impossible to stop people from using the already great existing encryption algorithms/programs available.
It is impossible for the processor to know when an encryption process is running.
These laws are pointless.

So if you can gain access to the government key vault, you literally have the keys to every encrypted transaction in the UK

But what if Scotland will become independent?
Also, there is Nothern Ireland-Usual Ireland border
The United States of America doesn't have this problem.
