I have been to Nepal for quite some time and what I saw there were constantly broken windows installations, due to power shortages, whoch can occur every day at any time. The installations mostly break because of interupted windows updates. I myself helped them out by installing lubuntu on their pc's. All they mostly do is FB and YT anyways, so they are content with any os that can properly run a browser.
I guess it's similar for India.
