Already went there for the same reasons.
I'm still disappointed in my ti, was honestly hoping to would do 60fps at 1440 for all, but some games are just have shit optimisation
Just bought an RX 560 from gigabyte. If Vega comes out in the next 3 months (supposedly in July), will I be able to step up to a Vega card? If so that's dope.
http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/amd-rx-vega-hbm-2-8gb-memory-stack-costs-160.html
>Reports have been showing that a 4 GB HBM2 stack costs $80. AMD Vega GPUs make use of 8 GB HBM2, two stacks used is $160. When compared towards GDDR5 that is expensive.
Ouch, if this is true then it doesn't look good. So apparently in the end amd either sells vega at minimal profits, or we have another fury in our hands, expensive for the performance but cannot be priced any lower. I wonder if wouldn't be better to just move to the cheaper gddr5x/gddr6 in the next gen.

Amd's gross margin is around 30% and vega will consist of only high end gpus. selling them around 500-600 bucks would be profitable.
I can wait, meanwhile I'm using an old gtx 980 which I could lend from a friend...
Idk if they did, but they should've announced/told people about it way later than they did. They fucked up and are making consumers choose for the other side.
There's no card there, just the cooler. It literally has the fan connector hooked up to that lab PSU, probably for acoustic testing or some shit.

I hope you mean 980ti and yes it can do 1440p 60fps in everything so long as you're not using ultra max placebo settings with AA enabled
