I did search. I can't find any good results. Only programs that claim to be free but then want you to buy them when you try to export the video. What's a real actually free good video editor?

blender is free and has a video editor that can edit playback speed, however, the UI is trash.

Blender's UI is fine, weird but fine. It's like 5 minutes to get used to after someone explains how anything works then you're gold.

The alternatives make it seem less intuitive. Very few people actually start using blender. The only thing that was really fucky was their weird window frame sizing/cloning which is just silly.

MOST of the UI is very intuitive.
