Just got a job
I need to learn Javascript and ActionScript in a month
Help? I need materials
>Can't use google at all
Off to a good start
I highly recommend this book:
JavaScript & JQuery: Interactive Front-end Web Development.
(You will need some knowledge of HTML but that's all you need to know before reading. If you don't know HTML, there is another (short) book by the same guy that will teach you all you need to know.)
I read it and learned javascript to a pretty high standard in a week or two. (You will probably be even faster if you have experience any programming).

That's a pretty good start. And it's free.
>Actionscript
I don't mess with the dead.

How about you go fuck yourself first. I hate faggots like you who manage to land jobs that they're totally unqualified for.
That being said, >>60538535 is right on the money. jQuery is more or less legacy at this point, so learn it if the job asks you to, but learn how to do what it does so that you can understand why libraries are tools and not crutches. ES6+ (ie: Arrow Functions, Classes, a lot of syntactic sugar.) is good to know to make you look cool. Use sites like Codeacademy and freeCodeCamp to get some practice and stuff.
Also, how the fuck did you manage something like that? I've been looking for a year and I'm way more qualified than that.

How the fuck did you get a job that you aren't qualified for? Are you an Indian on H1B or some sort of minority?

All you have to do is be charismatic during the interview. Companies are quick to hire non autists with cs degrees
