Based on personal observations zotac cards have notorious whines and heating issue. Hence in some countries the have extended warranty.
Heck, people around me who got zotac sold theirs away and got a different brand due to the mentioned issues, I assume it's nvidia's design fault but zotac made em worse.

If you insist of getting a compact card i suggest looking or hunting for other brands.

I think there's something off with the thermal paste they're putting in their current cards, I've heard of Zotac 1060s heating up a lot which is weird for such a cool card.

Don't listen to them, Zotac cards are fucking based. I swear by them. I got a GTX 970 mini a couple of years ago almost and it's been excellent.
Runs very cool (I have it in a shitty case) and is quiet.
