Thanks, I think I just need to reseat the middle two sections of the desk though. Will take a new picture when I have done that. It's weird though. The front of the desk is perfectly straight but the middle two sections seem to drop towards the back end.

I was hesitant for a while to get my 3rd Ultrasharp. In hindsight I should've gotten it immediately. 2 is great and all, but 3 is the sweet spot. Two vertical, one Horizontal.

3x1440p is a dream. I don't game that much, but a 1070 can easily play DiRT Rally on 7680x1440p on high at 60 FPS.

Pricey but 10/10 would buy again.

Yeah. I used to be a gamer. I deleted all games off my computer about a week ago. I don't miss them which surprised me.

I have more then enough money to get a kick ass system but I just don't feel like doing it.

self powered studio monitors are generally really cheap speakers in the under 50 buck range if you buy the speakers themselves and cabinet seperately with a cheap amp thrown in. You could use dowel pins, or biscuit and motise joining, but it would then mostly reside on the glues to keep it together under tension and the pins or biscuits have to resist all loading and shearing forces.

generally large composite lumber items use a finger joint in the wood.

Finger jointing allow a much larger surface area for the bonding reducing the likely hood of a tear along the joint. it also is transferring load directly to the composite members due to the interleave. But it takes more expensive equipment to make, or time consuming re-adjustments if you only do one cut at a time.

The desk is from bauhaus, similar to the ikea one but I needed a little bit more length for the monitors, so I bought a custom cut piece. About the same price as ikea. Legs are ikea, obviously.

Keyboard is Magigforce 68, which is like 30 jewros depending on the switches you buy.

The tannoy reveal 402 monitos are decent, but pretty entry level and cheap. I would have saved for genelecs, but those do the trick for video works and occasional sound mixing just fine.

I am not in anyway rich, I make pretty normal salary. Maybe even lower than average, depends. And actually, who cares?
