I've been waiting for some curious scientist-minded person to do exactly what this twitter guy did with Windows 10. We now have proof that Windows 10 sends telemetry even when the user sets group policy to block telemetry. The only thing left to do is reveal the exact info contained in the telemetry. If there is any personal information of any kind that can link the telemetry to the specific user or location, there should be a global movement for a massive class action lawsuit against Microsoft. If nothing else, such a movement would draw so much attention to the oppressive and fascist nature of the big tech giants, and perhaps we can finally have Congress begin anti-trust proceedings against Microsoft and splinter it into a dozen small companies.
