there is no way to unlock a phone that has an itunes account on it.
only apple can do it when you go to an apple store with the original receipt.

They do. I lost my phone while I was in Germany and some kind stranger returned the phone to an Apple Store. Got a phone call (I live in America) from a rando number and it was a thick german accent dude saying they want to send me my phone. All I had to do was pay for post which was like 30 bucks. Really great experience overall desu
