License are actually okay in a way, but honestly our legislators should have made the right to re-sell and modify inviolable, given that we're also talking about something with the function of a "tool" or "industrial machine".

But I guess we're not electing as many people who just want to make society work optimally. Instead we seem to mostly be going for pawns of richfags that lobby for their company to have an easier time making profits. Which is an opposed choice in this case.

Not necessarily.

Owning a thing doesn't necessarily mean you are allowed to multiply it. You may still not have the required permits or whatever.

But you're allowed to repair / absolutely randomly modify / resell this one thing.
