It's a vendor locked closed source browser from NSAland. I rather use one browser on all my devices no matter the OS, so I can have the synced history.

All serious answers will fall into these two categories. IE 11 and IE 12 (I'm not edging microsoft it's fucking 12) are both perfectly useable browsers, and the developer tools work fine enough. The problem is Microsoft was too late to the party and other solid alternatives have popped up. People are creatures of habbit and don't want to change.

I use chrome. I don't use the account syncing but i can see how it could be useful. I mostly stick with it because i know the developer tools inside out and don't want to learn new keybinds

I'm actually using Windows Edge right now. Not bad. I'm going to keep using it and see if I can adjust to it. If not I'll just go back.

How does it even update? Via Windows update or on it's own?

Chrome is the better browser but Edge doesn't drain my battery as much so I've grown accustomed to it. The lack of webm support really sucks though

I've tried switching multiple times, but edge doesn't stack up quite yet. Also as someone that uses multiple OSes and platforms it's nice to keep everything synced.

We have over 100 machines. All setup by MS. All of them have these issues. It's so bad that the onboarding presenter's edge crashed and all he could say was "(sigh) edge..." loudly. This is also in no way limited to edge, every single one of microsoft's garbageware has this kind of issue.
