It's pretty good if you can be bothered to set it up with GPG and are making regular backups. Automatically git commits when anything is changed.

This or keepassX2 are both good choices

The only thing that turns me off of pass is that each pass file is given the title of the site you give it, so if somebody gets a hold of your database then they will know. That might not be a big deal to everyone but it mattered to me so I just go with keepassX

Gave these both a try, I don't like the idea of all the files being stored seperately, I'd rather just have a single encrypted database. As for KeeypassX, it doesn't have an e-mail field. I just want somewhere to store data, I don't care if it can't interpret which to use to login to a website, I'm not even going to use it for that.
