Does Apple make their products biodegradable or something? All their rubber parts seem to crumble after a few years. Another added incentive to force you to upgrade.

How are you doing down there btw, Mr. Jobs?
>>
>>60463179
They're designed to look good, not actually be useable.
>>
They know retards will still buy it.
>>
>>60463179
i believe he's cremated
>>
I remember a time when people would bully everyone who owned an apple product, now it just seems like no one cares anymore. Well, not like I like apple, but have their iphones become an actually decent product?
>>
>>60463399
They have been, and always will be the most reliable and easy (read: good) smartphones.
>>
>>60463399
>have their iphones become an actually decent product?
No!
>>
>>60463420
Apple shills now?
>>
why don't they put proper strain relief on cables any more ; _ ;
>>
Do you think Apple cares about you and your purchased Apple product? No. They just want money. They'll use cheap materials so they save money themselves, and you'll need to keep buying replacements.

>hurr durr I buy new maccie
>oh no :( the $100 cable brokie aftr 6 monthies
>betr buy a new onee :))

They won't want the actual Mac or iPhone to break or anything, because then you won't have a reason to keep buying new cables.
>>
>>60463179
Their cables are absolute garbage but I still haven't found a better laptop than a MacBook Pro
>>
>>60463179
For the price you would expect their chargers to be higher quality. I also find laughable is the amount of dongles Apple users own and they actually defend it.
>>
>cable is all yellow and dirty and disgusting
I've owned Apple shit for years and mine looks brand new, especially compared to that.
>be a disgusting subhuman
>blame the hardware when it fails
It's not exactly the most hardy cabling, but give me a fucking break. If your equipment looks like that, you are a loser and have no valid opinion.
>>
>>60463399
they're generally better than the alternatives but you can't say so here without some autistic child/manchild losing their shit.
>>
>>60463483
>your purchased Apple product
I've never paid for an Apple product. The stuff I got for free was a series of headaches.
>now collect dust
>crumbling away from particle decay
>>
>>60463538
>they're generally better than the alternatives

How so? If you expect anyone to believe this statement you should say why.

Also, I would never support any device that prevents me from installing whatever I see fit, like an emulator.

>>60463560

My prefs are ASUS + ATI + GNU/Linux.

It's caused by faggots who bundle their cords up and throw them into the bottom of their bags as opposed to coiling them up properly around the posts or looping them up. Shit gets kinked and frayed. I guarantee the faggots who have this happen are kids who's parents buy them this shit for $education who have no interest in taking care of it because it wasn't their money. I saw the same with non apple hardware under the same conditions.

Pic related. Original supply with the laptop, which saw me through uni and served me till about 2013. Granted the ends where it gets handled is yellowed, but I put that down to my obsessive use of hand moisturizer more than anything else.

It costs them $0.20 to make the Lightning cable but they sell it for $20.

they're good especially since respectable alternatives like the Nexus line have gone up to the same pricepoint.

A good Android handset is great if you consume a lot of media or do most of your computing on your mobile device since there is a huge open feature set. Core application function on Google Android has also come a very long way to properly compete in terms of stability with iOS.

I've kept lightning cables on my desk and just plugged a phone in once a day, without manhandling it, and they still fucking die. However I believe it's because the contacts corrode due to the general shitty design of a lightning port causing shorts due to an uneven contact with the pins. This results in having to jiggle the cable to get it to charge which then makes the shitty cable with no stress relief literally pull out from the glue that holds it to the connector. Tim Cook needs to be gassed for his crimes.
>>
>>60474648

people care -- or care enough not to want Apple.
I spent a week in 6th and 7th Grade classroom in the rich part of rich Vancouver: all the kids see Apple as old people computers. They all have their own computers, and most of them were waiting to upgrade to the Surface Pro 5.
I asked if anyone was going to get an iPad Pro 2 and they looked like I'd asked them if they wanted to eat dog shit.
>>
I thought it was common sense to never ever use the supplied cables from any company, since its intentionally made in lower grade to cut cost.

I put third party cables for everything, there was a major defect with the asus monitor external power supply which was easily fixed by buying a laptop power supply.
>>
>>60474871

NEVER FUCKING USED AND THEY DEGRADED.

The burger that gave them to me fucked up his left ear and couldn't use earphones or earbuds, he had to use headphones so he gave these to me for shits and giggles.

Never used them, stashed them and forgot about them.

Fuck you and fuck your ghey crapple shit, go blowjobs or something.
>>
>>60477187
This.

The cheap rubbery shit apple uses for their cables are the lowest quality garbage you can possibly find. This shit is literally made to disintegrate into sticky nasty crap 2 years from the date it's manufactured.

Meanwhile I've a shelf in the garage full of ancient PC parts and cables from the fucking 90s and the plastic on the cables are still as good as new. Apple is plain and simply trash.
>>
They're made to be pieces of shit cheap as possible.

It's why they allow shit like the iphone 6s to have 16gb storage and cost $80p

Yes, compared to how it was before.
You literally could not background.
There were no quick settings pull down.
Safari could not upload a file to 4chan.
You could not side load apps.

iPhone 4 was the first decent one, 5 and later were pretty good. And at this point Android phones are just as glued shut and losing memory cards, UMS connectivity and audio out.

Your cable already looks terrible. I take zero care of my cables, from small (IEMs) to big (laptop power cord) and I've had no problems in more than 20 years.

The worst I've had was breaking the little nubs of RJ45 cables (the few that do not have something to protect them), but it's not a safety issue and they still fit.
