McAfee is telling me to switch on WebAdvisor, which reminds me: what's the best way to protect my PC?
AVG? Avast? Kaspersky? I'm out of the loop.
/g/ moves faster than I imagined

Kaspersky is actually made by a former KGB agent and its known to have security "issues".
Thats my 2 cents.

Thanks, that's a no go there then.
What do you use?
>>60462635
Not him but I use Common Sense 2017 on Windows, and I do most of my browsing/internet related tasks on Linux anyway, leaving Windows for production shit like PS/Unity and gaming.
In case something slips through Common Sense, a combination of HitmanPro and MalwareBytes is normally enough for me.

If you use unity then you have zero sense

>Common Sense 2017
>not using Common Sense 2017 Pro Edition
enjoy being brainlet

I like ESET for general usage. It's light enough and doesn't bother me much.
When shit hits the fan, Malwarebytes generally takes care of what ESET doesn't. Only install that when I need it.
>Not removing things manually
Why does no one ever mention sysinternals here?

>Complains about the normie edition
>Brags about the Pro Edition
Isn't aware of the weekly fee featuring enterprise edition with non-disable features like "reinstall OS just to be sure" and "We have detected internet traffic to and from your windows machine, plz use condom".
>use linux
>use windows only for things linux can't do
>use Common Sense 2017 Paranoia Edition
>use script blocker like umatrix while browsing web
>backup important shit externally so you're immune to ransomware
>have nothing to hide so you're immune to spyware
>even if you did somehow get malware you have nothing to lose but a couple hours of time wiping harddrive and reinstalling OS
>>60462319
Run linux in a VM and browse on that, other than that it's just common sense my dude
