Some have, but apparently not you. But then again, it probably isn't a good place to start reading that blog... Anyway. One point of that quote is that whining about privacy won't help you. You don't like the telemetry? Drop Windows. Another, more salient point is that if the government decides to persecute those who oppose it, Microsoft's telemetry won't make or break its ability to do so anyway. It won't even be a major factor. Stalin didn't need telemetry.
