I have found this senseful.
-there is no practical limit to how many layers of tunnels can be built, so any level of traffic can be addressed.
-tunnels are weatherproof.
- tunnel construction/operation is silent to anyone on the surface.
- tunnels don’t divide communities with lanes and barriers.

What do you think?
Let's discuss.

I think too much BS about how they think they will change everything and how it will be so much cheaper with those obvious x*y*z fold improvements.
They should just build their better automated electrical TBM if they can. Or bring the will to pay about as much as what safe tunnels currently cost.
>>60449382
Nice idea but way too expensive.
>>60449382
Earthquakes.
>>60449488
PS: Also consider that Europe, Japan, China and others who tunneled a good bit were perhaps not full retarded about their TBM.
No doubt they can be better, but these fuckers think they can just ask and magnitudes more perfect tech will appear or something. I bet its some fucking humanities students or business tards running that thing. Ideas are cheap though.
>>60449382
Morlocks and molemen.
Checkmate.
>>60449382
It's in fucking California, there's fucking earthquakes
>>60449382
>-there is no practical limit to how many layers of tunnels can be built,
wow someone really thought about this
>>60449893
That is about the only thing they are right about.
Tunnels aren't much at risk from earthquakes.
>>60449382
>-tunnels are weatherproof.
>>60450155
>implying California gets any rain
>>60450207
California does get rain, we just get it all at once.
I think this is something that will need to happen on Mars so lets figure it out on Earth first.
>>60449382
but they're expensive than building roads
>>60449558
Retard.
>>60449382
If they use electric pods they can sell carbon credit. How profitable is it?
Hyperloop is vacuum tube based
One imperfection anywhere in the tube it WILL rupture and implode
This WILL kill everyone inside of it
The first time this happens all hyperloops Will be shut down and the tech will be abandoned as a bad idea
>>60452216
True. Just use air planes. They already exist and don't have any of this.
>>60450207
It never rains in California, but girl don't they warn ya. It pours, man, it pours.
>>60452260
Too inefficient / expensive to operate.
Tunnels have a high up front cost but are cheaper in the long run.
>>60452320
Retard. It was a joke. Planes have the same "problems" the other anon pointed.
>>60449382
I despise Elon Musk shills.
Can't wait for Amber Heard to divorce Elon Musk so you fanboys will fade away from the internet.
>>60452343
Hyoweloop is tooo dangerous and risky to implement. Peoole will fucking die we cNnot allow this anymore than self driving cars tech needs to stop advancing
>>60452408
WTF? Are you trying to play along or something?
>>60452495
This video says that they are dangerous and stupid
https://youtu.be/RNFesa01llk
>>60452343
there were supersonic passenger planes like Tupolev 144 that did fuck up and got shut down though
No one needs to live and they dont even deserve it
>>60449382
Perfect for building a base on mars. Just tunnel into a rockface and job done.
>What do you think
https://www.boringcompany.com/jobs/
they don't have any actual talent or engineers they are just the idea guys
>>60449893
japan has a ton of earthquakes too
