So I recently moved to Lubuntu in my search for a lightweight distro.
Everythng is working fine so far, bu how can I make it look better? I've seen a bunch of XFCE and LXDE rices where they make everything look cute as fuck, could I get some help?

Have you even run Plasma in the last year? It uses less than 500Mb of RAM. A fresh install was as low as 390Mb on my machine.

No I haven't. Maybe you are right, it has become better, but for me it is still bloat.
I run minimalist set-up, but for GUI people I always recommend XFCE because it is the best classic-style panel and launcher I've seen. I run XFCE for all family machines and it works great.
I cannot possibly see what extra features (that XFCE don't offer) a white person may need.

Well, there's a lot you can do.
I imagine you probably want to keep the bar. You can change its position (top, bottom, etc.) You can also change its color, or use a background image instead of a color. You can make it transparent. You can put the bar on top and add an app launcher like docky to make it look like a mac if you're into that. you can get rid any of the buttons on the bar that you don't want. You can download openbox themes for the windows (since LXDE is really just a pre-configured openbox). Change the fonts, change the gtk themes
there's more you can do, too. but I don't really do a lot with it. pic related isn't exactly amazing or anything, but it gives you an idea of some of the easier things to customize in lxde.
