I see two possibilities.
Either fags who want into PCMR gaymen, but are too retarded to build one and want one of those "console killers"
Or people looking for a decent HTPC with a full warsnty and wont go with the hazzle of building their own, still sucks because of the limited audio output options.

Looks good for the living room, comes with everything built and installed including Windows so you don't have to do anything. What's not to like?

The price

this, pretty reasonably priced prebuilt in comparison to an equally specced/priced node 202 build. Smaller too.
looks like a markup of about $150, but has support and warranty https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2fhsf8 ?
not a bad little computer. i'd never spend a grand on a home theatre/gaming system, but for someone who wants that it's not a bad idea
People that value their time more than their money. And in a way the extra costs covers the cost of time to some people. You're not the target market for these products so don't worry about it.

Closer to $50 because your build doesn't include Windows. I know,

This. I was planning to buy something like this for gaymen, but I ended up running a long ass HDMI cable from my PC.
