It's doable, but keep in mind you've got a lot of work to do just to catch up.

Here's some hints:
Especially while you're still learning, don't stop coding and reading about coding for long - it's pretty easy to fall out of practice. Try to always have something to be working on in your spare time.
Don't get too caught up in writing 'the perfect abstraction' the first time. You're honestly better off writing unabstracted code and abstracting it later than writing the wrong abstraction and trying to undo that.
Learn a few completely different languages so you can get an idea about what you can expect all programming languages to have. eg: C, Python, and Java.
You learn not just by reading, but by doing.
You're going to need some evidence that you're not shit. Publish shit on github, release an app on the play/app store, go to hackathons and meetup.com sessions. This will also work wonders for your networking and programming.
