I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Also creating a Hackintosh is easy af now, Clover is a far cry from when I tried to install Mavericks with Multibeast/Unibeast and that's an extremely good thing, even updates work fine with Clover.
I've also seen some interesting Ryzen Hackintosh builds recently too which is quite promising.
