Man, it feels good to be back to basics. Fuck rice threads. It was all an autism stimulation activity from the beginning. With only 15 minutes I am more satisfied with my desktop than any rice I constructed. Share similar or contrasting experiences, and don't worry if you want to call me a faggot. I know that MATE and XFCE are love, and life.

Open /g/ serves the purpose of proving the OP didn't save the desktop from someone else a long time ago.
If their browser was maximized, you wouldn't see the wallpaper, so really there's no avoiding it. I don't see why you're sperging out over a simple action like minimizing a window.

Objectively what is wrong with maximizing your browser on a 1080p display? Am I missing out on some productivity boost or something?
I've done it since long before I even had 1080p, probably dating back to 2003 or so.
My monitor centered in front of my keyboard always has my primary task maximized with the secondary tasks on the second monitor in some window's "tiling" config. 4chan specifically has a ton of empty space but I use in-line expansion so if I click a big picture I'll maximize with out thinking and leave it like that.
