>Shut down laptop
>Close lid
>Leave
>Come back hours later
>Open lid
>Laptop wakes from sleep
>>Laptop is shutting down

How do I stop this? Do I literally have to wait two minutes for my laptop to shut down before I close the lid?
>>
yeah you do

(but Lubuntu on my garbage laptop turns off in two seconds)
>>

My craptop with an SSD shuts down in seconds, don't know what you're going on about. Probably had some background task fucking around.
>>
Windows 10 is supposed to prevent this. If it still happens, wait for the screen to go black, you dont need to wait until the power button's light is out.
>>
>hard shutdown
>>
Why are you turning off your computer

i have this problem as well. Similarly, if i sleep a laptop, then close it, somehow it will wake up again and drain battery in my backpack for hours until i'm wondering why my back is so warm.

when shutting off, just confirm everything is off before shutting the lid
>>
>windows
Just save your work and do a hard shutdown; it's a myth that it physically damages computers, just save your data before you dumb fuck.
>>
Apple Macbook doesn't have this problem

>Put MBP into sleep mode (close lid or hit power button)
>Do fucking anything else
>Laptop wakes up

Example:
>Close lid because I'm going out and will take the laptop
>Unplug USB mouse
>Laptop wakes up. Ready to fuck the HDD when i put it in my bag.

>Close lid
>Unplug the fucking power cable
>Laptop wakes up

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

You mean suck your daily cock, no?
>>
>>60381245
No?

Hows your $100 Acer treating you?
>>
>>60381280
Pretty well, actually. I have more disk space than the average MBP and have decent cooling inside my computer. It isn't without problems, obviously, but I'd say it is much more useful than a MBP in terms of hardware.

Sure, it's an acer. But it just werks.
