Get a fucking asus or some shit. When /tpg/ tells you to buy a thinkpad, they mean an X220/X230/T420/T430 mostly. They're not powerful, but they're more than good enough for everyday non-heavy use, they're reliable, customisable, upgradable, repairable, compatible (with Linux). Chinkpads like this one have absolutely nothing to do with any of that.
