I know that USA goverment really, REALLY loves to have total control but seriously, forcing companies to share such info without valid cause is stupid, as we all can see. Basically instead of asking house owner for keys by police when court have actual reasons to demand access, said police ask you toprovide copy of keys "just in case we might need them" and later discover taht somebody stole them.
