Can anyone give me a quickrundown on the SSD meme, what's the most important speed for daily use.
Every brand focuses on sequential write and read speeds but some anon told me that the most important one was 4k random read and write for normal use as OS drive unless you need to move massive amounts of data each day.
Can anyone dispel some myths about SSDs?

Even the inexpensive ADATA ones are miles better than a regular HDD.
Pretty much any of the 'good' ones will be good, just some will be slightly better at certain things than others. Pick one from a brand you trust in your size and price range
It doesn't matter at all. If you want a good one then get 850 or 960 evo but the differences are very minor.
