already do, I keep a bootable live-usb of my system with me at all times
I backup on to it and another drive about every 2 days
All of my OS is literally just 5Gb, so it fits pretty much on anything

I only backup programs that are of use while off-line (Music/Video player) but if it is something like a browser then I'll have to have internet to download and use it so, I might as well download the newest version instead of installing the old and updating secondly to the new version. All my files are in external hard drives (a backup of a backup)

I'd have to get 16TB more of storage to make a backup of everything though. I don't have the space for that.
