what do threads look like?
what moderation system is there?
does it still work if you disable JS?
how does it look in text-only browsers (lynx, links, w3m...)?
how do uploads work, specifically --
- what file types are allowed
- how many per post
- how do previews work
If you just mean the visual aspect, I like it at a glance. Might be useful to decrease the size of each tile in the catalog, or enable different sizes.
Also the theme might be just a bit too elegant for normal chan traffic.
Imagine what it would look like covered in frogs.

Interesting layout. I actually like the idea of having the OP visible at all times -- might keep threads from derailing.
Though I think it's excessive to dedicate half the screen to it. For easy reading, I think posts should be
somewhere in the middle of the screen, with fixed width and large margins. A bigger font, perhaps.
Also I think it would be annoying to have big ANON labels next to every post.

You didn't follow the Material Design Guidelines in the slightest, you just used some css framework and cramped in some cards and buttons.
Padding is off, no color palette at all, bad placement of ui elements.
Look at the damn guidelines or don't attempt at material meme at all.
