I fell for the ThinkPad meme. Less than two years in it bricks. Any suggestions for a new, better laptop?

I'd be using it for programming and watching YouTube videos so I don't need a super strong workstation.

well thinkpads are good for that, but since you had a bad experience with them..

maybe you could just get a normie laptop first hand? those with integrated gpus like HP, Asus or toshiba usually are pretty cheap and run linux very well

can get a i5 one for like $500 first hand
