there's a couple alternatives... Voice to text, but then you have to talk all the time and it's not 100% accurate or a frogpad, which would fix the positioning issue, but you'd have to relearn to type.

Maybe I just suck at touch typing but I just find it impossible to keep my hands tracked properly when inputting characters like brackets and ().

I've literally tried voice to text for programming and it is abysmally bad.

Honestly it all comes down to shitty circulation in my hands cause they are fricken cold all the time.

Try use some program to learn touch typing. I used gtypist.
