What's the point of buying a mac when you can build a hackintosh?

Hackintosh is broken as fuck. Not all hardware is supported so some normie would try it and then break their machine. Then they'd cry and scream and mommy and daddy will shell out $15k+ to get their little angel a MacBook pro™®© so they can "think different™™™™™™™™™™™" like everyone else.

I took one look at a hackintosh guide and it's even more finnicky than installing linux for the first time.
Literally any update will randomly break your sound, or your video driver, or maybe it simply wont boot and then you have to run screaming for help on tonymacx86 asking for someone to write you a .kext or whatever the fuck mac os uses.

Just install linux, it's not purposefully designed to fail if you use an AMD cpu.

Good commercial software. OS X has a ton of it, some of it even exclusive to OS X.
