have you tried the other options? I had a very similar issue a while ago, I forgot how I solved it though. I tried all the baud rates until one kinde worked.

Try reflashing again, make sure your power supply is connected and stable

I think I had an issue with a certain nodemcu version, but as I said, it's been a year or more

No. Seriously, walk through the common baudrates. If it doesn't work, reflash. Also, nodemcu is pretty worthless unless you're already a good lua dev. It's a PITA if you're so so at lua.
