Will AR be more useful in the long run than VR?

yes, Google and Amazon have already patented holographic/projector tech
the issue with both techniques is developers and spooking consumers
Vr was a luxury few years back..
Now vr can be viewed easily though a quality device and even a cheap be headset
Ar is now a luxury , it lacks content and devs
When ar becomes dirt cheap it'll be fun

>Now vr can be viewed easily though a quality device
VR still hasn't fixed the nausea problem nor the content problem
there are very few games that are more enjoyable to play in VR than through a normal computer

are you fucking kidding me normie
nausea problem solved a while back with fps games like Onward and the typical teleport movement in many other titles
there are over 1,000 vr titles on steam, many with over 100,000 purchases and at least 20 titles at 90%+ positive with over 500+ reviews in genres from FPS, to RPG, to social, to puzzlers, to simulations. by the way, they're all much more fun than their 2d counterparts.
way to sound like you're behind the times

Yes. And no.
Hand held device AR is basically Pokemon Go. Which as everyone knows is a shitty application.
AR will become more useful in headsets similar to google glass. It will become useful on cars and motorcycles and airplanes. VR will be used for training and simulation. And that's it.

Non neckbeard AR glasses when

Teleport movement is raw ass and you know it. They're not going to be able to expand past roomscale until a meme treadmill becomes affordable ie never.

AR/VR won't be ready for prime time as long as you need to wear something on your face.

Really pisses me off when faggots patent technology that doesn't exist

Here is a prime example of a mentally ill retard patenting a tech that is uninventable for meme purposes
