Serious question for driod users.
I've been Apple for ever but considering the possibility of going to a Note.
But, I'm curious about the differences. Without fanboying for either brand what are the benefits of going Android?
In Apple I can:
>set wallpapers
>create folders
>set widgets
>set notifications
So on, what can I do with a driod especially a Note that I can't with iPhone? I don't give about setting batman themes or anything like that.
I know Notes can do split screens, app in apps, and so on which Apple can't do. But what else can it do.
Keep in mind I'm a power user in the sense of using device for practically everything, but I'm not into "rooting" or anything like that.

Install whatever APKs you want, even stuff not on the crapp store
Install your own launcher
Have fine tuned control over what's running in the background with apps like Greenify
Have fine tuned control over connections with Leandroid
you can change User interface from lock screen to fonts (like themes ,softkeys design and skeys order )
+ you can use a lot of witgets (for apps, system control even create custom widget (like for temperature and clock monitoring))

Don't buy Samshit or you'll be dissapointed.
>I'm not into "rooting" or anything like that
Then stay with an iPhone really and i don't mean it as an insult, i'd rather have an iPhone than unrooted Android.
but when you "root" device you can install Android without crapstore (cm or lineageos) and download APK's for apps that you use
I use my phone that way (LG G2) and my battery lasts 2 full days (5-6h of SOT )

Right now I have a Redmi 3 with Lineage OS but it really isn't rooted, what am I missing out on?

>I'm a power user

You're not a power user. Use a different term for whatever it is that you do.
Apple:
>u can't do anything that we don't want u to
Droid:
>u can do ANYTHING

I use it mainly for Xposed and its modules but also to automate things with Macrodroid, Terminal, Naptime to trigger Doze sooner, DriveDroid to use my phone as an USB flash drive (even bootable) without MTP crap and Catlog.

>Root your device
>Add privacy enhancement software
>Mod your Android
>Flash with new ROMs
>Add firewalls
>Remove the battery
>Run Ad Blockers
>Run software that locates Stingray devices
>Tor over your phone
>Better control over phone behavior
