Based on my biased opinion it seems like DDR3 memory is starting to disappear from the market.

not the used market, that's for sure
>>
>>60264282
You can make those.
>>
>>60264282

>>60265724
are you living in india?
>>
>>60265853
Europe actually(second india)
>>
>>60264282
Yeah, well, that's just like, your opinion, man.

*desperately buys remaining DDR3 off pcpartpicker*
>>
I'm still running DDR2. Let me know when you have to spend >$100 to get 8GB.
>>
>>60264282
Makes sense. AMD was the last holdout for DDR3 and that ended with the release of Ryzen. No new system will need DDR3 now.
>>
>>60266749
I spent $60 to get 2 x 8 GB in late 2015. Step it up.
>>
>>60266749
8GB of DDR4 is less than $70. 16GB of DDR4 is around $120-130 unless you want it over 3200 MHz or with some flashy LEDs.
>>
>>60264282
Yes, DDR4 has been mainstream since 2015.
>>60264488
You can get DDR3 pretty cheap, like 8 GB for 10 €. But I would upgrade now. The same happened to DDR2, it is insanely expensive nowadays.
>>60265724
I think there are still smaller quantities in production, but they are extremly expensive.
>>60266749
I was too, but upgrading to 8 GB would have cost me 40+ €. It was cheaper to go to a more modern platform, faster and cheaper DDR3, more efficient processor and things like PCIe2, SATA2/3 and a proper BIOS.
>>60267745
I paid 45 € for 4x4 GB DDR4 last year, new and sealed. It was shitty Crucial RAM, which is still faster than any DDR2 or DDR3.
>>
>>60264282
Good riddance.
That trash could be rowhammered from javascript.

Just bought 2GB of DDR 400 new from China for $5.19

I still remember when SDRAM was selling for like $100/gig
