Software engineer is just another word for code monkey

"Software engineer" and "software architect" are just pretentious way of saying "programmer". I understand the word "programmer" has been devalued by a bunch of clueless monkeys calling themselves that, but come on. Creating software has nothing to do with actual engineering or actual architecture; you might as well call yourself a "software surgeon" or a "software sculptor" and it would sound just as fucking stupid.

I think I'm a software sculptor. I copy/paste shit from stackoverflow together to get a finished product. kind of like a sculptor takes clay pieces and kneads them together to form a sculpture
