Ryzen R5 1400 vs i5-7400
Ryzen has 4cores, 8 THREADS so it's better?
pls respond
Spend slightly more on the 1500x or the 1600
The 1500x has twice the cache and higher clockspeed and the 1600 has twice the cash and 2 more cores
The i5 sucks

even 1400 is expensive for me
t. poor easter european
>>60259272
If the's not going to overclock the 1600x is better

then get some used old intel that still can keep up. no reason to buy new when on a budget.
>>60259287
But more expensive and doesnt come with a stock cooler (i think)
But youre right
>>60259280
FX8300 still holds up fairly well
The pentium 4620 is also nice for the price

90% of things can still only use 1 thread because programmers are lazy and do the bare minimum to get their shit launchworthy then go ADHD and never finish(they even have a gay little term for it: agile development)
>>60259352
That is mostly because jew bosses give deadlines.
But also I encountered so many shitty programmers, I worked with people that pay some shitty college and don't even know what what multithreading is.

The Indians are even worse, I had to train one with a "Masters Degree" in CS, and the poor poo didn't even know what a command line was.

If you're planning to play games, buy a G4560 and the GPU you can afford. Go for AMD for RX 470+. If you can't, go with Nvidia.
If you don't play gaymes, buy a 1400.
>>60259280
Then get some used i7 with 8 threads.
If you can't afford the 1600, just get an used i7.
>>60259211
7400 (or 6400) is a better deal
