What's a power supply that won't die on me in 2 years and also has good customer service so if it dies they'll actually replace it
NZXT cucked me hard even though it still has 1 year under warranty they literally won't respond to my ticket

Rosewill.

my EVGA is 4 years old
I built a pc in china back in 2008. Chinese no name PSU. It's been powered on for more than a year a half total and the PSU is still going strong.
tfw fell for the seasonic meme and it broke in 2 years and their RMA process took 6 months

Only one that has died on me was a logisys I think really cheap 480W or comparable.

this, their reviews are pure propaganda, I've bought over 20 different items from them and none of them have arrived defective or failed me yet.

Corsair or EVGA. Anything else and you are fucking retarded.
Like seriously anon, it supplies electricity to your computer. Don't cheap out in that shit.

Seasonic
EVGA
A few high end corsair ones.
A few Antech ones for lower end systems.
Most companies aren't going to be too shitty honestly.
I got some gay-ass Thermaltake Toughpower 850W that was DOA in August. Won't go with them again even though it's working fine now.
Be Quiet! has a few that look alright

First computer I built as a kid I bought a case with a built in power supply to save money and it fried my motherboard after a few months.

Thermaltake is absolute shit tier in all PC hardware.

except cases
god bless the core v1

Bought a second-hand 500w modular psu some years ago, the fan that it came with took a few weeks and started rattling and then screeching. Tore the damn thing open and replaced with a fan from some ancient 90's psu, hooked it to the 12v output line and now it works just fine. It seems the fan is always the weak point, and when it fails best case is a broken psu, worst case is a fire.

Hard to say. I have an old Corsair CX 650W that's six years old and still quiet.
One little problem is that a new one may not be the same. Most brands are rebranded OEM parts.
I have a one year old EVGA G2, it's nice but like Corsair they don't actually make PSUs. The EVGA G2 and G3's are completely different brands.
I can tell you that Cooler Masters are the absolute worst trash, avoid everything from them.
>>60255706
None of those make PSUs.
>>60257138
because they copy them
>>60259380
Actually the G2 and G3 are both re-brands super flower leadex PSUs of different revisions
>>60252707
I like my Cougar PSU. It was like a 70-$80 600 watt unit and has been going for a year now. Has two fans built in. Has 80% Certified. Pic is not of my unit.
>NZXT won't respond to my ticket
OP if you've got a legitimate issue, make some noise on the /r/pcmasterrace subreddit. NZXT community manager posts there and ledditors looove a tech sob story.

>two fans
You mean one 120(or bigger) fan, and another smaller one on the side? Literally why.
>>60252707
what NZXT you had?
Always get EVGA power supply. Best reliability and full 5 year warranty comes standard.
i have a 5yo 500W seasonic on my PC that runs almost every day all day and it's still going strong with no problems whatsoever

I got this cheap raidmax PSU like 6 years ago and it still works just fine. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152035&cm_re=Raidmax_630-_-17-152-035-_-Product
