the difference is still noticeable, small fonts or logos will reveal whether the screen is 1366x768 or something higher. if I type a / now, that one really reveals that my screen is shit. screen size doesn't matter until you get to such a high DPI that things are scaled up.

however, it isn't the kind of thing that really jumps at ya. it only tells something about your vision if you really can't tell a difference even by trying to.

It has a long battery life because it can't do anything other than open a text editor and sometimes a hypertext.

I've always been against apple devices, and swore never to own one. Then my school gave me a rMBP 2015. At first I was so fucking annoyed by everything about that computer. But now i must admit i really like it.

I couldnt comfortably use any other laptop without a mouse. With this thing I dont have the need for it at all.
There are some cons though such as performance inconsistency between different programs (lags and stutters when resizing windows for example) which sometimes really ruin the usage experience. Inability to close programs and windows from mission control. Full screen programs in separate desktops. And of course the price is through the roof.

Im not even a shill. It actually is a good device. Newer models i couldnt use due to lack of ports.

I have rMB. One USB-C port.

I've never really cared. I just keep all my accessories, including HDMI, plugged into a USB hub on my desk, and when I sit down, I plug the one USB-C cable into my Macbook and I'm completely hooked up. It's like the return of docking.

Then I just keep a USB-C->USB/HDMI/Power in my bag for the rare occasion I want it or need it. Most of my other devices are slowly switching over to USB-C so it only gets used like once every two months.

I've never really wanted to use more than one USB on the go, anyway, most things are done wirelessly now.
