So, /g/, what web browser should I use if I want to minimize my botnet exposure? Right now I'm using Nightly, but a lot of web pages fail to load correctly. I am considering switching to Ungoogled Chromium, but it's a pain in the dick having to install extensions manually. So, what are my options?

It's not a pain to install extensions manually if you're not a fucking flog.
Inox if you're on Arch since ungoogled latest is Debian Stretch only.
Google Chrome on Windows 10. Hiding in plain sight is the best way to draw attention from yourself.

Firefox, nightly or iridium.

Are these or palemoon actually good? I'm about to change computers and newest Firefox is shit, half my addons no longer work and they don't even bother telling you they aren't compatible.

I've used palemoon when I was forced to work on a mac (don't ask) and it's pretty good, never used many addons though

Palemoon is based off FF 24, thus the latest versions of most FF addons don't work in Palemoon. I guess it's the other extreme of FF 52+ which threw the existing addon mechanism out of the window altogether.

So the game of modern web tracking/surveillance is a game of the type "if you don't play, you already lost"? Will making efforts to avoid it prove counterproductive, only drawing more attention, putting you on "watchlists", etc.? Has it become "self-incriminating" to not use a modern smartphone, Windows 10, Facebook and other "social media"?
are more people going to work on ungoogled chromium? iridium gets updated more than it
