Why doesn't someone run a bittorrent tracker as an onion service and then put up a reverse proxy for clearnet users? Would make takedowns impossible.
Sounds good do it

OK then. Asuuming that's Nginx, what will you put in the proxy_pass directive?
>>60173047
proxy_pass to a tor proxy with a rewrite rule to the onion address

Wat
So you assume an owner should also set up a tor proxy? That's too much points of failure.
I agree though, you can set up a proxy which runs a tor node as a backend, but again, it means there's a big risk in hosting that thing.

>>60173159
how else are you going to reverse proxy an onion site?
clearnet users? Are you legally retarded?
>>60173159
>host hidden service on dedicated server
>buy cheap VPS
>VPS reverse proxies onion service
>if VPS is seized nothing of value disappears
>dedicated server is never exposed

What did he mean by this?
>>60173211
You don't, that's the point of tor sites.
