This guy decided that reading wikipedia pages would be enough to know what takes a huge bandwidth. Games does not take that much bandwidth unless the videos and such are taken from the servers during gameplay OR games with lots of "monsters" (cooperatives) on screen, RTS, action RPGs and L4D clones would be the worst offenders, he should have researched more desu. (I dumped my stream of thoughts here so I am probably contradicting myself at some point)
On the spectrum crunch, expect governments to rise/create taxes (for the masses) to use wireless devices, you will be renting/buying a space for broadcasting your signals as people becomes more aware of jamming wifi signals, and taxes paid by companies transferred to the consumer.

Those things are huge time suckers though, I wouldn't mind online gayming taking a hit from the incoming mess. We need less manchildren in the world.
