There's some great oss out there, but the suites still have a pretty long way to go compared to Office. Excel is the standard for a reason. Hundreds of people are paid to work on Office and make it better than the competition. Even the other major paid option, Numbers, falls pretty short. Time and a place for open source; spreadsheets are not one.
