>Hear that comcast is finally offering higher speeds than 150/20 near me
>See a 200 mb/s plan on their website now
>contact sales to find out the details of their plan
>...
>10 megabit upload speeds maximum
>Verizon still only offers 1.5mb/s dsl at my apartment

if I sell you a burger I made with shit on my hands, and you still buy it every single day, what motivation do I have to wash my hands?
Oh yeah, federal regulation. That's really the only thing that's gonna stop me if you're still buying my burger every day.
now try explaining that to Ajit Pai
>complaining about 150/20
in my town in Kansas I get 5 mb/s down and 0.5 mb/s up for $40/month. yes that is bits, not bytes. also it costs an extra $10 if you go over the 100 GB/month limit.
the only other internet service available here costs $80/month and it's advertised as 50 mb/s.

nobody cares about 3rd world countries
Honestly, even if it seemed like a wonderful opportunity to use xfinity's service. They always manage to raise the price every month. It was ridiculous. Currently, i pay 80 dollars a month for 1Gbps internet (from att and locked in for 2 years) and flawless. Not incompetent and customer support actually solves problems.

I don't think flyover country even counts as third world. People actually want to travel to third world nations.

Mexico here, i pay $10 for 25/5MB.
I could upgrade to 500/50 for $45 or 1Gb/100 for $70 but there is no reason when i barely use 25Mb.

I forgot to mention as well that the connection established fiber optic. My download speed is apporximately 920 Mbps/ and 910 mbps upload. My wireless router is not the best and only transmits 350 mbps upload and download. I have my own router and use the att router only as a modem.
