Why do people praise this book?
It's badly written and has poor readability even for an academic publication.
>>60085294
Because it's a meme

>It's badly written and has poor readability even for an academic publication.
Maybe because you are a brainlet.
>>60085294
Instead of calling the book poorly written, why don't you suggest better resources to actually compare to
>>60085334
Is that a brain in the 4th dimension?
>Wahhhh I don't understand algorithms it must be the books fault :(((
>>60085294
>he's too stupid to read proofs
this is why hard maths should be mandatory before you're even allowed into a CS program.
>>60085431
That brain is in a our interpretation of the fourth dimension.
>>60085294
i didn't think it was poorly written at all.
it's just that you won't understand most of it if you didn't learn your mathematics first, and your old school math shit won't get you too far into it.
>>60085526
>our
Maybe yours, brainlet
What do you recommend then?

Have you guys actually opened this book? Cormen's shit is fucking amazing even if his writing is a bit esoteric. He is a mathematician, they are retarded like that, but holy shit they can put a huge amount of information in a small package.
This book is amazing. If you don't understand it the first time, that's completely normal and understandable, just give it another read. And then another.
>>60086024
literally any Ruby book
>>60086307
Ruby is an OO language you inbred. What the fuck do you think a "Ruby book" is?
>>60085294
Because it's the de facto goto intro algojerk book.
>>60085420
>>60086142
This. I've never read a better algorithms and data structures book before or since.
Knut's series is a meme though. It contains a lot of great stuff but is, in fact, unreadable imo.
>>60086142
another one?
