I just dumped Firefox last night to switch to Edge.

I visit fewer than a dozen sites in total. The only special property of Firefox that I was using was userChrome. I don't even block ads for fuck's sake.

What bugs me is that even Edge eats tons of RAM. I use shitty computers. I don't need six different processes sucking hundreds of MB just to render 4chan.

I tried chromium the last few days and it constantly crashed /gif/, /wsg/ and some other script heavy tabs for me. It feels faster than firefox but I have gone back to it and applied https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Firefox/Tweaks

Everything is as fast as chromiun now plus it never crashes. That dpi scaling method is also better than chromiums. Can't get happier than that.
